Jesus Christ, our Lord, place a bolt on the door of my heart so that it may not think evil of anyone, judge unfavorably, make false assumptions or misinterpret; so that I may not invade the sacred sanctuary of intentions. Lord Jesus, put a seal of silence on our lips in order to block any murmuring
or unfavorable comment, to zealously keep confidence until death, knowing that the first and most perfect way to love is to keep silent. Make me kind and understanding. Grant me a spirit of courtesy so that I may have for one another the consideration I would have for You. Grant me the necessary
wisdom to surround this courtesy with fraternal trust. Grant me the grace to respect one another.

Señor Jesús, pon un sello de silencio en nuestros labios para bloquear cualquier murmuración o comentario desfavorable, para guardar celosamente la confianza hasta la muerte, sabiendo que la primera y más perfecta manera de amar es guardar silencio. Times of depression – I do not forget, Jesus, Son of God and servant of the Father, that at Gethsemane, under the shadows of the olive trees and in the moonlight, tedium, and agony made You shed tears and blood; and I remember that an intense and deadly sadness flooded Your inner being like a bitter sea. But everything passed. I know that my night shall pass. I know You will remove the darkness, my God, and that tomorrow solace with awakening. The massive barrier will collapse and I shall breathe once more. Tomorrow my poor soul will be cared for and I shall live anew. And I shall say; thank you, my God, because this was all a nightmare; the bad dream of a night that now belongs to the past. Meanwhile, grant me patience and hope. Your will be done, my God. Amen.

Thousands of illnesses, a thousand and one misunderstandings, intimate conflicts, nervous breakdowns and obsessions, resentments and envies, melancholy and sadness, limitations and helplessness, our own and that of others, pains, nails, torture. You, the just one, the obedient and submissive servant to the Father, when your hour came, You surrendered Yourself peacefully, and You freely accepted to drink the cup of sorrow to its bitter end. Actions of the human conspiracy did not fall upon You blind and fatal, but You took them on voluntarily, knowing that they were not due to human intrigue, that the Father permitted them. You carried the cross with love. I thank you for this lesson, Christ my Savior. Suffering is not conquered by complaining, fighting, or by resisting, but by assuming it. When we take our cross lovingly, not only do we accompany You, Jesus of Nazareth, on the road to Calvary, but we cooperate with You in the redemption of the world. Perfect freedom consists not only of taking up the cross with love but also of being grateful for it, knowing that in this manner we take on human suffering and participate in the transcendental task of redeeming humanity. We thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, for the wisdom of the cross.

Jesús, ¿no quieres decirme la hora que espero con tanto anhelo? Hija mía, es por tu bien. Lo aprenderás, pero no ahora; Mantente alerta. Oh Jesús, haz conmigo como Tú, por favor. Sé que Tú eres el Salvador misericordioso y que no cambiarás hacia mí en la hora de mi muerte. Miles de enfermedades, mil y un malentendidos, conflictos íntimos, crisis nerviosas y obsesiones, resentimientos y envidias, melancolía y tristeza, limitaciones e impotencias, propias y ajenas, dolores, clavos, torturas. Tú, el justo, el siervo obediente y sumiso del Padre, cuando llegó tu hora, te entregaste pacíficamente y aceptaste libremente beber el cáliz del dolor hasta su amargo final. Las acciones de la conspiración humana no cayeron sobre Ti ciegas y fatales, sino que las asumiste voluntariamente, sabiendo que no se debían a la intriga humana, que el Padre las permitió. Llevaste la cruz con amor. Te agradezco por esta lección, Cristo mi Salvador. El sufrimiento no se conquista quejándose, luchando o resistiendo, sino asuyéndolo. Heed our needs, and we will be happy. Without You all is annoying and sad. Have mercy on us in all our work and efforts that we may reach You, for without you we can do nothing. We are distracted by the material things of the world. Help us, show us, and guide us towards You. We know the earth is not our home, that heaven is. Our free will leads us either to do good or evil and evil seems to be the choice of many. You are LOVE Lord and we Your children seek this love above all else. Only You can fill our needs.
